Write a number in words, in lakh and crore or millions

Use it at https://www.quicktoolz.com/tools/number-to-words. From QuickToolz.

To write a number in words, read each group of digits and name it. In the Indian system, 1,25,000 is one lakh twenty-five thousand. In the international system, the same number is one hundred twenty-five thousand. Choose the cheque format to get Rupees one lakh twenty-five thousand only.

## How it works

Read each group of digits, then say its name: crore, lakh, thousand.

The Indian system groups digits as thousand, lakh and crore. The international system uses thousand, million and billion.

We read the whole number exactly, so long numbers aren’t rounded.

Worked example: 1,25,000 is one lakh twenty-five thousand. On a cheque, it’s written “Rupees one lakh twenty-five thousand only”.

## Examples
